Reset Multiple DropDown Menu's after patch

Hi,

I have multiple Drop Down menus over a number of different screens I would like these to reset to the default value after I patch my results so that when the end user then goes to create another record the previous dropdown values are not selected

Does anyone know how I can acheive this?

Thanks

Hi

You may try this:

- Set the DropDown.Reset = rst (or any variable name)

- For the screen that contains the Dropdown, set the Screen.OnVisible = UpdateContext ({rst: false}); UpdateContext ({rst: true}).

This is to enable that when the screen is navigated from another screen, it will set the Reset to false and then true and this will clear the previous selection.

Hope this helps.

How do you set the DropDown.Reset=variable name? Reset only expects true or false value.

Hello,

You can use a boolean variable.
But now you can also use the Reset() function.
Reset() function was added in Powerapps, after hpkeong wrote this post.
