Retrieve Images from Sharepoint into Gallery

Hi Folks

I've got a gallery that shows audit records (data source = Excel table). During an audit, the user has the option to take pictures, which are then stored in SharePoint and the links to those images are stored in the Excel table as semi-colon separated links in a single cell/record.

My gallery has a detail screen and I'd like to add the images into a gallery on that detail screen. Is it possible to collect the images from the links in the Excel table?

Hi @TJO

Yes you can display the Images using the URL. Make sure that the URL passed are publicly accessible. You can add the below expression to Items property of the Gallery on View Screen as:

Split(LookUp(ExcelTable, IdentifierColumn = "ValueToIdentify").URLColumnName, ";")

Here, LookUp(ExcelTable, IdentifierColumn = "ValueToIdentify").URLColumnName needs to be replaced with expression to fetch the column value.

On the image control inside Gallery, you can set the Image property to: ThisItem.Value

Hope this Helps!
