Retrieve data from Lookup type field in the sharepoint list.

Hi.. I need to display Approver name based on project ID. The Project-ID2 field type is a Lookup with allow multiple value.
I used this LookUp('Approval List - DO NOT DELETE','Project Name'.Value= DataCardValue32.Text).ApprovalName to lookup the ApprovalName in a label & it does not work. How i can get the approvalname?

Hi@CtSaMas,

Based on the issue that you mentioned, do you want to display 'ApprovalName' in a Label based on a Lookup column value?

Could you please share a bit more about the scenario, is the 'ApprovalName' a Person type?

In my scenario, I have a Person column 'ApprovalName' and a Lookup column 'Project-ID2' allowed multi select.

See the Text property of the Label as below:

LookUp(
    'Approval List - DO NOT DELETE',
    CountRows(
        Filter(
            ForAll(
                'Project-ID2'.Value,
                If(
                    Value in DataCardValue6.SelectedItems.Value,
                    {t: 1},
                    {t: 0}
                )
            ),
            t = 1
        )
    ) = CountRows(DataCardValue6.SelectedItems.Value),
    ApprovalName.DisplayName
)

Note: DataCardValue6 represents the ComboBox corresponding to the 'Project-ID2' column.

The logic for the formula needs you to check if every selected value from the ComboBox matches the value within the 'Project-ID2' column.

Hope it could help.

Best Regards,

Qi
