Retrieving an item from CDS to edit with a form does not display lookup field information

I've created a form to populate an entity that I have created. When trying to display the form with an item selected to edit, the CDS Lookup fields do not display the information. I've tried editing the defaultselecteditems to point to, for example, a user but it states no information can be found. I've also tried Parent.Default.

Example Scenario: 

1. Time-sheet entry
2. Select user on form
3. Submit
4. User clicks edit
5. Pull information from CDS

Expected:  'User' field (which is a lookup to the Users entity) to display previously selected user

Actual: Lookup fields display no data

I'm using to get the items: First(Filter(Timesheets, Name = selectedName))

The data is displayed on the CDS data tab correctly.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hi,

I dont see anything that stands out to be incorrect with how you have this set up. Your logic seems to be set up correctly and you are using the correct functions. You might want to open a case with Microsoft Customer Support. I'll include a link below; if you would like to go down that path.
