Running total and Gallery

Hi,

I am a self-taught in PowerApps, so I would ask one question about the RunningTotal function or about Variables at all.

The issue is: I make daily inspection of parts - some of them I accept and the rest of them I decline. All these parts are connected to a specific work order which number is used for parts separation. For example I have such table in SharePoint:

Work Order                         Accepted parts

000000001                          33

000000002                          21

000000003                          7

There is no problem for me to change the quantity of accepted parts via PowerApps, but I want to make this quantity to be cumulative. I have already used RunningTotal, UpdateContext functions and etc. They work good but when I create the new Work Order the amount of accepted parts remains the same but the real accepted parts quantity must be different for each work order:

In this example:

Default of Accepted Parts q-ty has RunningTotal function.

OnSelect of Add button has UpdateContext function.

I have already tried to use the Patch function but it seems like a blind person in the dark.

Can anybody help me how to fix the accepted parts q-ty to a specific work order?

Thank you in advance!

Re: Running total and Gallery

Hi @PavelKrayushkin ,

Did you mean that you want the Accepted parts column to be unique numbers in SharePoint list? If so, you can achieve this by setting the column's setting. In SharePoint list, select this column > Edit > turn on the Enforce unique values.

Re: Running total and Gallery

Thank you for your opinion., but it doesn't work. I mean that the RunningTotal value remains the same for all items in my Gallery. I try to use the Filter function, but I feel that I do something wrong. I just need to sum accepted parts for one separate work order like in a calculator. It must look like this:

WorkOrder #1          Accepted Parts (9+1+2+3) 15

WorkOrder #2          Accepted Parts (9+1+2+5) 17

But if I go back to the first work order the accepted parts quantity will be 17 (the last modified)
