(SOLVED) Gallery & Sharepoint: Search by ID | Filter by ID | Multiple search options & Search by ID

Here is how to search a SharePoint list by ID, and how to have multiple search options.  Without any delegation problems.

Here is the code to search via ID only:  Filter(SharePointList , ID=Value(textInputbox.Text)

Here is the code to search via ID OR other search parameters:  If(IsBlank(textInputbox) , /*enter your search options here like: */ SortByColumns(Filter(SharePointList , StartsWith(ColumnName,textInputbox2.Text)))  , Filter(SharePointList,ID=Value(textInputbox.Text))

The reason its not possible to search an ID field using StartsWith or Search is because in SharePoint the ID field is a number field.  Searching for a number is not a delegable operation in SharePoint.  However it is possible to delegate operators suchas "=,<,>,etc...".  But, the ID column is special in that the only delegable operator that works with it is "=".

Here's the overview of the SharePoint Connector.  You can see what is and isn't possible:  SharePoint - Connectors | Microsoft Docs
