SP Integration- Edits not updated 'on save' unless web page is physically refreshed

Hello All,

 

The 'Save' button on my PowerApp includes a patch function (I have multiple forms on one page) and a refresh('nameofdatasource')

 

Patch('PCAR- Testing',If(Form1.Mode=FormMode.Edit,SharePointIntegration.Selected,Form1.Mode=FormMode.New,Defaults('PCAR- Testing')),Form1.Updates,Form2.Updates,Form3.Updates);Refresh('PCAR- Testing')

 

However, when edits are made and the save button is used, the edits are not shown with the new information in the SharePoint list unless I physically refresh the web page. (Using Edge)

 

Side note, I noticed when list items are deleted, they still show in the list until the page is refreshed again. It is something in my function that I am doing incorrectly or might this have to do with something in the SharePoint list settings?

This is expected behavior. You could try to workaround this by setting additional launching of this list page like:

 

Patch('PCAR- Testing',If(Form1.Mode=FormMode.Edit,SharePointIntegration.Selected,Form1.Mode=FormMode.New,Defaults('PCAR- Testing')),Form1.Updates,Form2.Updates,Form3.Updates);Refresh('PCAR- Testing');Launch("xxxx")

 

xxxx is the URL of your list site.

 

Notice that Refresh function only refresh the data source inside PowerApps so that the data in this app is the newest version.

Hi @ebraga 

I'm afraid this is a SharePoint issue, as SharePoint lists aren't live web pages that are auto-refreshing.
