Hi everyone,
I am working with a SQL database with Dropdownbox.
The dropdown box1 now contains the ID of a record in my recipes table. The dropdown works well, but I would like to show a different text instead of the recipe.ID.
For example, the name of the recipe recipe.name .
I have to keep working with the ID in the database.
Regards
Thanks for the quick reply.
If I then leave the datacard to Dropdown1.Selected.ID nothing is saved.
I work with 2 tables.
kitchen.ingredients
kitchen.recipes
I need to be able to add ingredients in the recipes app. But the ingredients can also be changed by, for example, a different name.
If I change the name, the link is not established.
Is it possible if I change something in the kitchen.ingredients database that it will be adapted in the kitchen.recipes database?
Can I use the patch function for this?
Regards
@rho1967 I believe the Update property should be Dropdown1.Selected as a record should be sent back to be saved.
Thanks for the quick reply.
Unfortunately, he won't accept it.
