Hi @Anonymous :

If  'Procedure Approved''s data type is Choice please try this solution:

1\set the Dropdown1's Items property to:

Choices('Hardware list'.'Proceedure Approved')

2\set the button's OnSelect property to :

Patch('Hardware list',ThisItem,{'Proceedure Approved':Dropdown1.Selected})

Hi @Anonymous :

Could you tell me :

  • what is the gallery's items property?
  • Do you want to edit(not add a new) the record?
  • What is 'Proceedure Approved''s data type?
  • Is the button in the gallary?

I assume :

  • The gallery's items property is 'Hardware list'.
  • You want to edit the record.
  • 'Proceedure Approved''s data type is text
  • The button is in the gallery

Please try this code:

Patch('Hardware list',ThisItem,{'Proceedure Approved':Dropdown1.SelectedText.Value})

If you want to add a new record, please try

Patch('Hardware list',Defaults('Hardware list'),{'Proceedure Approved':Dropdown1.SelectedText.Value})

I think this link will help you a lot
