Save button resetting other rows data

Dear community,

I am facing unusual issue with the save button.

I have a form in powerapps to be filled by the end user basis row level security. Lets assume I have 4 items assigned to me for which I have to fill in information.

If i go to these 4 items, I have 'save' button in front of all the rows to enable user to save after filling the information but there are users who want to fill in information first and then press 'save' button for each row.

So when they fill in information for all the rows and as soon as they press the 'first save' button the data filled in the underneath rows gets Reset.

I am not sure what wrong am i doing here as i dont want to reset to happen for the already filled in data.

Can anybody guide or point me to the right direction.

Hi @Mishatandon ,

You are doing nothing wrong - when you Patch from a Gallery and update an item in it, any other "unbound" fields are reset. The only possible workaround would be to add some columns matching these fields to the gallery in the background and Patch to these on the OnChange of every control, binding the Default to this field. This is only a concept and I would suggest you have your users save one row at a time as it the normal practice.

Please click Accept as solution if my post helped you solve your issue. This will help others find it more readily. It also closes the item. If the content was useful in other ways, please consider giving it Thumbs Up.

Thanks @WarrenBelz !
