Save images captured from PowerApps to SharePoint List/DocumentLibary and display back to PowerApps

Hello

We have a business scenario where we need to capture a image from power apps and save it to sharepoint list/library. We would also need to display the captured image from sharepoint list to PowerApps gallery.

Is this possible to do? i have watched some video with similar specs but unable to get it working on my side.

Can anyone assist me or direct me to the right direction please. I would really appreciate your help.

Thanks!

Ram

Currently, in order to display images from SharePoint in PowerApps, you need to use a Hyperlink (format as picture) column in your document library where your images are stored. There is some security built into those links which allows the image to display in SharePoint. So, you can add a step to the process mentioned above and update the file with a link to itself. Check out the steps in by blog here: http://repointtechnologies.com/saving-images-from-powerapps-to-sharepoint/ You can find those steps under the section "THE PICTURE COLUMN"

Hi @rameshkc,

Have you followed below blog to have a test? I have tried before and it used to work for me.

Hi Mona,

This works great for taking a image and save it to SharePoint Library.I am stuggling to display the image back to Power Apps gallery. I have tried thisitem.filename ( same formula works in SharePoint List). Is there a way to display the image in PowerApps?

I would appreciate your help.

Thanks!

Ramesh

I did it without using flow.
