Re: Saving Data to Excel

Hey @SamantaBoodram, I see I had more typos that are part of the errors you are getting. In the first line there should be a comma between Patch(Table2 and If(IsBlank(LookUp...

So, with your changes:

ForAll(
    Farms,
    Patch(
        Table2,
        If(
            IsBlank(LookUp(Table2,  'Growout' = Farms[@'Growout'])),
            Defaults(Table2),
            LookUp(Table2,  'Growout' = Farms[@'Growout'])
        ),
        {
            'Growout': Farms[@'Growout'],
            'Age': Farms[@'Age'],
            'Farm': Farms[@'Farm'],
            'DatePlaced': Farms[@'DatePlaced'],
            'QtyPlaced': Farms[@'QtyPlaced'],
            'Weight': Farms[@'Weight'],
            'TARWeight': Farms[@'TARWeight'],
            'MTD': Farms[@'MTD'],
            'Feed': Farms[@'Feed'],
            'PDF': Farms[@'PDF'],
            'Comments': Farms[@'Comments'],
'LOU%': Farms[@'LOU%']
} ) )

Notice the single quotes around the column names (the ' characters). Those are optional for column names that don't have a space in the name but required for ones that do. I am guessing you renamed your columns so I tried to match that in the formula.

Try that out and we'll see where things are. Hopefully we're getting there!

@SamantaBoodram

From looking at your original Excel file, it looks like the DatePlaced column is really 'Date Placed'

I would change that reference in your formula to 'Date Placed'

Re: Saving Data to Excel

As @RandyHayes  said, the error you are getting now is due to the name of your DatePlaced column. Those column names need to match exactly what is in your data source. I had assumed you had changed them because of the different names in your previous screenshots, but maybe that isn't the case? If you go through your table and make sure each column name matches its reference in the formula, it should clear things up.

Hi,

just to clairfy the names on the left and on the right should match the excel file or the edit form?

Coming into this post on page 4...not sure how your Farms collection is set up, but you might try this on that line in your formula:

'Date Placed': DateValue(Farms[@'Date Placed']),

Re: Saving Data to Excel

I added some screenshots with the results when I changed it and also with what the collection contains.
