Scanning Multiple Barcodes into a Form

I have an app that is essentially a digital version of a paper form. For the first four fields, I would like the user to have the ability to use a USB barcode scanner connected to a laptop to simply populate the input boxes (WO#, SO#, Item ID and Part Number) with the appropriate characters so they don't have to type them. Once they select the rest of the options using traditional means, they will submit the form which will write to a SharePoint List and then clear the form for the next entry.

Is this possible?

Hi @mkusler

Yes, this is possible.

  1. We have to use Barcode Scanner control to scan it
  2. Set the OnScan property of the Scanner control to Lookup or fetch other information from DataSource and display it like
ClearCollect(ColDetails, LookUp(DataSource, ColumnName = Self.Value));

And Assign the property to the default value of the controls like

First(ColDetails).WoNumber

Let me know if any more clarrifications.

Thanks,
