Screen Reader thinks everything is a button

Hi guys. Hope you can help me.

My power app has labels and combo boxes, and no matter what I try, my screen reader (JAWS) reads out each control as a button.

I've used tab index -1 for all elements which I don't want the reader to pick up; and I've used tab index 0 for all elements I wish it to read and interact with, still thinks everything is a button!

This doesn't seem to be specific to the JAWS reader. Is this something anyone else has experienced?

Thank you x

Hey,

It looks like it's a known issue. I am also facing it while using Narrator and came here to find the solution. I'm not sure if it is solved yet but this thread says to just used tab index -1 which IMO is not the solution.
