Screen Size | Can no longer zoom in/out using IE or Google Chrome browsers | Version: 3.18093.28

Suddenly, our users can no longer zoom in/zoom out of our PowerApps applications (users are in play mode not edit mode) when they are using Internet Explorer or Google Chrome browsers. (Version: 3.18093.28).

We've tried unlocking the Aspect Ratio in addition to using the Fit to Screen option, with no success.

P.S. The image attached is at zoom level 500.

Hmm it appears your application was published with 3.18102 version of the web studio which is why the zooming doesn't work.

Can you please do the following?

1. Go to web.powerapps.com

2. Edit the app that you need from there (this should open up a new version of the studio and should pick up the 3.18103 version)

3. Republish the app from that version

4. Play your app and try the zoom again.

You can verify that you are on the newer version by going to the Accounts page.

Thanks!

Cherie

Hi @Anonymous,

I tested with the Version 3.18093.28, and it could be zoom in/out as expected for the older created Apps.

For Newly created Apps, the App layout will render with the Zoom, to keep the Layout as where it is.

I will confirm this symptom from my side.

Regards,

Michael

 Thank you Michael!

Our team also tested several of our older PA applications (v3.18073.23, v3.18052.12) and they are able to zoom in/out within Chrome and IE while playing.

However, on version: 3.18093.28 the ability to zoom in/out no longer works.

We hope that a solution can be found soon.

Hey all,

We've identified the issue and are working on a fix for this. I will keep you posted!

We appreciate your patience!

Thanks

Hi Cherie,

Do we have an ETA of the fix?

Regards,

Pheba

Hey,

Apologies for the delay, it should be rolling out this week. I'll keep you folks posted when it finishes the deployment.

Cherie

The fix has been deployed. You will need to republish your applications to get the fix.

Thanks

Cherie

Hi Cherie,

The issue is persisting in the PowerApp even after re-publishing.

PowerApp Version - V 3.18104.16

Browser used: Chrome, Edge, IE

Let me know if there are any settings changes to be made. Thank you.

Pheba

Hello Cherie,

Thank you for your help.

Unfortunately, the issue still persists. Even after republishing and clearing out browser data, our users can no longer zoom in/zoom out when running PowerApps(in play mode).

We've tested in IE and Chrome.

Version: 3.18102.27

The image attached is at zoom level 500.
