Screen orientation problem - always landscape

Hi, 

 

I am currently trying to create an app for tablet that works in portrait mode. 

 

I have set the screen size to custom 1536 x 2048 to get the correct resolution. 

 

When I publish the app and open it on iPad I have the problem that it will always stay in landscape orientation despite the height and width being set for portait. 

 

I have tried using a standard format and even with portrait orientation selected and orientation lock slider on on, it will always open in landscape mode on my tablet. 

 

Any suggestions?

Do you want to create a responsive layouts canvas app on your side?

 

Please consider turn off the "Scale to fit" option and the "Lock orientation" option within "Screen size + orientation" settings of App settings of your app.

 

In addition, based on the needs that you mentioned, I think the responsive layouts functionality could achieve your needs. Please check and see if the following article or blog could help in your scenario:
