Search and filtering a Galery

Hi all,

I found a lot of similar posts, but didn't get my issue solved.

What I'm try to do is to filter my galery (source = SharePoint list).

When I try the solutions separeted from each other, it works, but I can't combine it.

What I have is:

An input field that I use for searching.

When I set the Items property from my galery on:

Search(SharePoint_listname; TextInput2.Text; "Title")

It works OK. I can search on the title.

I've in my SharePoint list a field named: "Project Status". This is a dropdown list with a couple of values.

When I set my galery Items property on:

Filter(
SharePoint_listname;
'Status project'.Value = "Preparing" ||
'Status project'.Value = "Ongoing"
)

This works also OK.

But I want those two options (search and filter) combined. So how can I search on title for all projects with the status Preparing and Ongoing?

Thanks in advance.

Hi @dennisb88 ,

Try

Filter(
   SharePoint_listname;
   (
      'Status project'.Value = "Preparing" ||
      'Status project'.Value = "Ongoing"
   ) &&
    TextInput2.Text in Title
)

You can use startswith function;

Filter( SharePoint_listname; Startswith ( 'Status project'.Value; Textinput2.Text) || Startswith( Title; Textinput2.Text) )

With that, you can search ongoing , preparing in the Textinput 2
