Search challenges

Dear @PowerAddict brother, It seems you are busy but if you have time please help me here,

I have a gallery from SalesReturns and a text box to search items.

I did the following formula on the Gallery Item properties, But it says expecting text type. , ID field is a number field I guess as that is an Automatic field coming from SP List, also I want to know how can I add mutiple columns to Search where those are having different data types such as chioces, dropdown, etc

Try this:

If(IsBlank(TextInput4),SalesReturns,Search(AddColumns(SalesReturns,"ReturnID",Text(ID)),TextInput4.Text,"ReturnID")

Hi @OsmandFernando, apologies for not being able to respond. Wasnt well this past week.

Anyways, you can use Search for text fields only. For others, I would suggest using Filter, or use AddColumns to add text values for the corresponding choices, numbers or any other type of columns.

For this ID column too, I would use AddColumns function to add a column say TextID to convert ID into text and then use it in Search.

Thank you @PowerAddict  for always there to support for us. It worked

I further enhanced it

If(IsBlank(TextInput4),SalesReturns,Search(AddColumns(SalesReturns,"ReturnID",Text(ID),"Customer",Text(CustomerName.Value)),TextInput4.Text,"ReturnID","Status","Customer"))
