Search code?

Is there a way to search all code in a PowerApps app?  If not, is there a way to export all code so I can search it then?  It is difficult following someone elses code and trying to find where some variable is being updated.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is the first page that comes up when I google how to search PowerApps code and the "Solution" is out of date. PowerApps has a Search function now, on the left under Advanced tools.

Update: Not available 9/21/22 😞

Unless I'm dumb lol

Microsoft, please bring this back 😭

Edit: I WAS dumb!!! Thanks, @dabresalier!! They did indeed incorporate it into Power Apps

I found the Search option from home menu

You're amazing thank you

This is not visible a all in my version. Is this something that IT would need to allow?  What version is it in ?

Carolyne

Well, it's showing in an app using PAPps v3.22051.27  but not sure when it was released.  I'm guessing at least nine months ago, but you can hunt for it here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/released-versions/powerapps

Or, just copy your app and force the copy instance to update to the latest PApps version, @Carolyne

It may require an environment release config change (requires Environmental Admin, if that is the case...but I kinda doubt it's that).

<edit>

I found a really old app in the same enviro and it too has the Search feature.  I think it actually is the "Modern toolbar" feature that may be enabling it.  I.e.:

Can you tell I'm talking outta my guessingArseHole? 😉  Sorry if I'm confusing things more than helping.  Sorry for the mud in the water. Good luck...it's well worth having.

I know this is an old post, but I'm not finding this - do you know if this functionality was removed again, or if there's another place to find it now?

I still have it under Home/Search
