Search into Entity

Hi Community.!!

Hope all of you are well.!!

I have one field the entity called "REQUEST" where are different records and this records cointains information in one particular field called PERSONAS such as this example:

Approver, Buyer

Auditor, Approver

One record can have one Persona or a lot. In case field has more than one Persona, this will save with comas (Approver, Buyer) case has one Personas just save the name ( Approver).

I have another entity called REQ with a lot of records. Each records has one field called "Persona" and onli will be one ( for example Buyer or Approver). So, I have created a gallery to list all the records and Personas selected for the entity called REQUEST and i have added one field to count all records that have REQ. But i dont know how to do that.....

Example:

The field Personas has all the records into REQUEST with the differents Personas selected.

The field Records should show the sum of all records into REQ that have this personas ( I cant use equals because there are records into REQUEST that have 2 personas and into REQ always be 1 personas.

Thank you.!

Hi @Anonymous :

Could you tell me:

  • What is PERSONAS 's data type?Is it "text"?
  • What is Personas's data type?Is it "text"?
  • Do you want to create a gallery to display all the records in REQUEST?
  • Do you want to show the number of persons appearing in both the PERSONAS field and the REQ table?

I assume my understanding is correct.I've made a test for your reference:

Add a data table control and set it's items property to:

AddColumns(REQUEST,"REQ",CountRows(Filter(REQ ,Persona in Split(PERSONAS,","))))

The function of this formula is to add a column named "REQ" to the entity REQUEST. Save the number of eligible records in the entity REQ in the "REQ" column.

Best Regards,
