Search not working in combobox

Hi Experts,

I'm building a new app.

For some reason search function is not working in Combo box

My Source is 'List B' and I'm pulling details from Title Column

Sort(Distinct('List B',Title),Result)

Using above formula as i want to sort then alphabetically.

Hi

Try this:
ComboBox.Items = Sort(Distinct(mydata, Condition).Result, Result, Descending)

in ComboBox, Distinct shall be writeen as = Distinct(mydata, Condition).Result,

then usr Sort(.XXX, Result, Descending).

Have a nice day

@PK_Hong

Thank you for replying to my post.

I'm using a different formula for getting items in the Combo box now.

Search function is giving me a warning now. please advise.

Hi @AshishJaiswal ,

This is because Search() is not delegable in SharePoint, so you will receive this warning.

But don't be worried. Actually, a Delegation message is just a warning, not an error. If the number of list items in your list is not too large(does not exceed 2000), you can ignore this warning. (I don't think you will put so many choices(about 2000) in your combo box).

For more information about PowerApps delegable functions and operations for SharePoint, you can refer to below documentation:

Besides, If you have a large list , you can use solutions provided in this blog to avoid the Delegation warning.

Best regards,

Allen
