Select Approvers from a custom list/table and send mail without using flow

I am trying to create a request form, where Onsubmit a mail should be sent to an approver.

Ideally, the approver is a manager linked to a user in AD. That unfortunately is not my case.

I have a custom table of approvers where I have a column called Email that harbors all my admins email.

Would love to know if there is a way during submit, to check manually on that list and send the mails to either one or all of them.

I would also appreciate links/articles explaining on how to achieve this without using flow.

Any help would be largely appreciated.

TIA!

Hi @Dk4 ,

You could use Office365Outlook connector.

I did a test for you.

1\ This is my collection 'Test'.

2\ Add a button control and set its onselect property to:

ForAll(Test,Office365Outlook.SendApprovalMail("https://outlook.office.com/mail",{
To:ThisRecord.Email,
Subject: "This Is My Options Email Title",
Options: "Option1,Option2,Option3",
HeaderText:"Header Text",
SelectionText:"Selection text",
Body: "This is the message you want to send",
Importance:"Low",
Attachments:Blank(),
UseOnlyHTMLMessage:true,
HideHTMLMessage:true,
ShowHTMLConfirmationDialog:false
}))

3\ The result is as follows:
