Select(Parent) is not working after data filter in the gallery

Hi Experts,

I have developed an app. It contains several screens of gallery with different filters used.
My All tickets screen is working fine. But other screens (Pending tickets, rejected tickets and approved tickets) are not working.

All tickets screen

All tickets screenAll tickets screen

Pending Tickets screen
Pending Ticket screenPending Ticket screen

When I select an item in the pending tickets screen, the detail view is same for all the selected items. This issue is same for my other screens except all tickets.

Query which is used in pending tickets:
SortByColumns(
Filter(
[@'Pay Parking'],
StartsWith(
Title,
TextSearchBox1_1.Text
),
'Created By'.Email = email,
Status.Value = "Pending for 1st Approval" ||
Status.Value = "Pending for 2nd Approval"
),
"Title",
If(
SortDescending1,
Descending,
Ascending
)
)
Please advice me!
Thanks

On each screen where you have galleries, on arrow icon or greater than icon(">") on select property use this formula(Set(RecordId, <GalleryName>.Selected)). Then in browse screen as per your screenshot in item property just use this variable("RecordId"). It will work.

@Musthaque
You will want to take a look at the Item property of your form on the Pay Parking screen. It is what determines which record to show.

You should put this code in the Item property of the Form on the Pay Parking screen. Let’s assume your gallery on the Tickets screen is called Gallery1.

Gallery1.Selected

Now whatever is selected in the Gallery will show on the pay tickets screen.

As I can see from the screenshot's posted. You are using different gallery screens(Let's say Screen A - Gallery A , Screen B - Gallery B, Screen C - Gallery C with different filter conditions) and using single details screen for all different galleries.

To make your use case scenario work  please define a variable on galleries(A,B,C) ">"click and in onselect property use Set(RecordId, <GalleryName>.Selected) which loads selected record information dynamically into RecordId Variable. You can now use "RecorId" in Item property of your details screens. This makes your details screen to show data dynamically based on your selected gallery.

Please Accept this as solution , if it solves your problem.

Dear @mdevaney

Dear @kbilakanti,

Do you know how to make this Details screen as dynamic. Because the the detail screen is common for the all screens (All, Pending, Approved and Pending tickets). And in this Details screen item element is set to BrowseGallery1.Selected.

Please advice me.

Thanks.!

@kbilakanti, I tried as you said. but it's not working as expected. I just wanted to make my details screen as a dynamic screen for all the screen. And when I create duplicates of Details screen, it worked. But I want to avoid duplication.

I created a sample and it worked for me . Attached sample images for the same.

Attaching one more image.

@kbilakanti , Its work for me, You saved lot of my time
