Select whole other Items of dropdown when select all opted

Hi,

I am using a multiselect dropdown in my powerapp which contains different state codes followed by Select All. If the user opting Select All from the list, I need to show all states in the dropdown as selected, in the on change event or in any action. Will it be possible? Please help me

My dropdown values like

(Multi Select enabled)

Select All

state 1

state 2

state 3

state 4

If user select select All, all the 4 states should be selected in the dropdown.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Select whole other Items of dropdown when select all opted

Hi @babzi_naaz ,

Firstly, what you are talking about should be combo box.

Drop box could only be single choice.

Secondly, usually the combo box's selected items could only generate by the action of "select".

However, I figure out a way that may could help you.

Here's my test for your reference:

1)insert a combo box

2)set the combo box's Items:

["Select All","State 1","State 2","State 3","State 4"]

3)set the combo box's OnChange:

If("Select All" in ComboBox1.SelectedItems.Value,Reset(ComboBox1);Set(var,true))

4)set the combo box's DefaultSelectedItems:

If(var,["State 1","State 2","State 3","State 4"],[])

Then, if you select the ""select all", the combo box will reset. And I've set the combo box's DefaultSelectedItems.

So in this way, the combo box will display like selecting all the items.1014.PNG
