SelectedDate not returning any value

I wanted to use the value of the currently entered date in the data picker with SelectedDate to save it as a variable. Unfortunately, unlike in all the tutorials I have found so far in the network, the formula shown in the screen returns zero or "empty" value instead of the entered value. Can I count on help in identifying the source of the problem?

Hi @Aravial ,

Actually, you should set a Variable on the OnChange of the Date Picker, not the OnSelect, so may not be a bug issue

Hi @Aravial ,

That code is correct, but I suspect you are affected by this current authoring version bug

I am a novice user and I do not fully understand how I can use the monitor to detect an error. Is there any way to get around this bug?

Unfortunately not. I assigned a formula to on select on a button that is not visible in the screen. After assigning to on change on the datapicker, the problem still exists.

EDIT: After minor modifications, the "on change" solution worked.
