Send Email from Canvas App on behalf of Service account email
Not sure if this is something possible, I have a scenario were an email should be sent to user from specific email account on button click, I've added something like below on button click which works fine when I set 'From' as my email and when I click to send that email but when I change the 'From' to service account email, I am getting below error.
I understand sender needs permissions to that email account but since we have above 300 users for App, we cannot give that email permission to all the users on O365 separately, isn't that permissions provided when I share the App? and is there any better approach for my case ?
One solution would be to write a Flow with your Service Account triggered by "when an item is created" and then send all the parameters to the target list as a new record. The email will then come from your Service Account.
