Send PDF Attachment from PDF reader directly to email

Hello,

Is that possible to do something for send PDF attachment directly to email?

I'm using the PDFreader template, all the data comes from OneDrive and Excel. In addition to showing the files in the app I would like you to have the option to send the files directly to an email

Thank you in advance

Re: Send PDF Attachment from PDF reader directly to email

Hi @Anonymous ,

Could you please share a bit more about your scenario?

Do you want to send an email along with the PDF as the attachment within your template app?

Based on the needs that you mentioned, I have made a test on my side, please take a try with the following workaround:3.JPG

Firstly, you need to add a Office 365 Outlook connection data source within your app.

Within your PDFGallery, add a "Email" icon as above, then set the OnSelect property of the "Email" icon to following:

Office365.SendEmailV2(
User().Email, /* <-- Specify the email address you want to send this email to */
ThisItem.PDFName,
"Please check the attached PDF for more details",
{
Attachments: Table({Name: ThisItem.PDFName & ".pdf", ContentBytes: ThisItem.PDFSource, '@odata.type':""})
}
)

When you press the corresponding "Email" icon within your PDFGallery, it would send corresponding PDF file to the specific email address (on my side, it would send an email to myself). The PDF attachments within the email looks like below:4.JPG

Please take a try with above solution, then check if the issue is solved.

More details about sending an email along with an attachment, please check the following article:
