Send email in PowerApps sends blank body message instead of item link

I am trying to send an email when my form is submitted in powerapps. The email is sent but it doesn't send this item link. it is always blank.

here is the code what can possibly be wrong?

following is the code in the button select

Office365Outlook.SendEmailV2("emailme@hotmail.com","New Request added","hello hello :" & ThisItem.'Link to item' );

SubmitForm(NewView);

I receive an email with the subject but in the body, I see hello hello there is no item link I tried to add ThisItem.ID still I see nothing. it only sends the hardcoded text.

Hi @alearner090 ,

There is no error in the formula.

There are two possibilities:

1\ The value of "Link to item" of this item is blank.

2\ Outlook settings cause the URL not to be displayed.

You could add a label to check if the 'Link to item' has a value.

You could also open web Outlook instead of desktop outlook to check if it is a setting problem. (It may be displayed in the web, but not in the desktop .)

I did a test for you.

Hi @alearner090 ,

Do you have an edit form control?

Do you use the NewForm() function?

Then do you have a Button in the form?

If you are creating a new item, then its ‘Link to item’ value is blank.

This is the correct phenomenon.
