Send email with attachment through Flow

Hi All,

I have a flow for send email in PowerApps.

If in the button I put the manual function:

Office365.SendEmail(Para;Asunto;Body;{Attachments:Table({Name:First(DataCardValue11_1.Attachments).Name; ContentBytes:First(DataCardValue11_1.Attachments).Value; '@odata.type':""; Importance:"normal"})})

The button works. I can send the email with the local attachments load (Excel, Word, TXT, Images...)

* DataCardValue11_1 is the attachments

But I dont know How I can send the attachments with the flow

My flow function is Send.Run(Para;Asunto;Body)

I can try:

Send.Run(Para;Asunto;Body;{Attachments:Table({Name:First(DataCardValue11_1.Attachments).Name; ContentBytes:First(DataCardValue11_1.Attachments).Value; '@odata.type':""; Importance:"normal"})})

Also I have configured the button so that when I send the email all reset.

Reset(Para);Reset(Asunto);Reset(Body);Reset(DataCardValue11_1) but the latter dont work.

I can reset para, asunto and body.

I try with ResetForm, and SubmitForm

Someone can help me?

Re: Send email with attachment through Flow

I typically do my flows outside of powerapps when I can and make the trigger when an item is created. What is your datasource...SharePoint?

Re: Send email with attachment through Flow

Yes, my datasource is a list of SharePoint, but the send email is independent.

I explain:

I upload local data of my computer or my mobile phone and send email with the attachments.

If I send email to only user, I use the function Office365.SendEmail(...)

But, If I send email to a list distribution, I use flow and the function is Send.Run(Para;Asunto;Body).

I want add attachment document in the flow (excel, word, pdf...) that I have in my computer or my mobile phone like I send with the manual function Office365.SendEmail(...)

Re: Send email with attachment through Flow

The only way I can think to do that is if you upload the attachment to the item on the SP List (in the attachments column), then it is tied to that item and available to do with Flow. (You can do this in PowerApps by just adding in the Attachment card to your Form)

I am not saying there might not be another way to do it but that is the only way I can think of at this time.

If you decide to do it that way I can post the steps for creating a flow that sends the attachment with the email (if the attachment is on the SP List).

Good luck!
