Hi guys,
I'd like to create a button in PowerApps form, that automatically send a message to a Business-mail. In my case the users of my customer don't have Office365 Outlook (Exchange Online) license and the license won't be migrated to Outlook. So sending a mail with Office365Outlook as data connector has not worked.
So I did a connection with the source "Mail". While the mail is successfully sent to any private mail (with domain outlook, yahoo, gmail), the mail can't be sent to the specific business mail address.
How can I enhance this formula to send mail to business mail? Is there any other possibilty?
Thank you.
As long as it is a valid email domain the formula you are using should work. If its an internal domain (not available on the internet) then there is no way for you to send an email to that email address.
Hi,
thanks. It seems that it is indeed the internal domain. However I figured the demo users who have the internal domain do receive the mail if they have this user license:
Yes, the sender always uses the powerapps.com domain. That's because Microsoft is sending the email for you. But its sending the email on the Internet. If the recipient doesn't have an Internet accessible email address then they can't receive mail. The user's with a Power Apps license would also have an Office 365 license, which includes an Exchange Online mailbox. That's why they can receive mail.
