Sending a Bulk SMS message using a collection

I've successfully set up to send a text in mass but can I do so without hardcoding the phone numbers in?

Launch("SMS:/open?addresses=#####,#####,#####,#####) works great but I'd much rather manage in a collection or table. Has anyone had any success?

Re: Sending a Bulk SMS message using a collection

Hi @littekme ,

You can use concat formula as below to concatenates all phone number in table together into a single text string separated by ",".

Concat( tablename, phonecolumnname & ", " )

However, an extra ", " is at the end of the string, use match funtion to remove extra comma.

Match( Concat( A, Tel & ", " ), "^(?<trim>.*), $" ).trim

Then, apply the following formula to the Button OnSelect.

Launch("sms:/open?addresses="& Match( Concat( A, Tel & ", " ), "^(?<trim>.*), $" ).trim)

Hope this can help.

Best regards,

Sik

Same issue, when the sms application opens it fills in PhoneList,PhoneNumber as the text recepient rather than the numbers and will not send.

Re: Sending a Bulk SMS message using a collection

Hi  @littekme ,

To better resolve your issue:

1. Can you share some screenshots with your issue?

2. What does text recepient mean?

3. Do you use collection to store the phone list?

4. Whch data source is the collection from?

5. Did you test on Iphone?

In my test, the SMS can be sent properly, and the OnSelect of button is as below, could you have a try and test if your issue you mentioned still remains.

ClearCollect(A,Table({Tel:"+8617621234567"},{Tel:"+8615901234567"},{Tel:"+8613771234567"})); /* Test Phone Numbers */
Launch("sms:/open?addresses="& Match( Concat( A, Tel & ", " ), "^(?<trim>.*), $" ).trim)
