Sending an email on form submission in PowerApps for Teams

I haven't been able to find an answer on how to do this but is there an easy way to send emails on form submission specifically in PowerApps for Teams? Anyone using the app should already be logged into Teams and I would think it should be easy to send an email to the user but I haven't found any information regarding how to do this specifically for PA for Teams

You should be able to use the Mail or Outlook connector with the PowerApps for Teams app to send an email. To add the connector you need to click on the database icon on the left > Add data > in the search bar of Select a data source type in "mail" or "Outlook".

Got it but what do you do from there? I imagine you need to set up something for onSuccess.

Hi @Future_Vision ,

You're right that you could set formula in Form's OnSuccess:

This action works just like a Power Automate, you could set parameters from anywhere in your app.

Please refer to below doc talking about Office365Outlook connector and SendEmailV2 action:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/office365/#send-an-email-(v2)

Hope this helps.

@Future_Vision ,

Here is video made by @Shanescows  showing how to send an email to a user's manger after saving an item. Although you aren't sending to a user's manager most of the set-up is the same.
