Separating Form, Cards

What is the best practice to separate a form in to multiple sections?  I have a 60 column list from SharePoint and when I go in to "customize form", everything is together and it works great.  Just looking to break it up in to 7-sections.  I have tried copying and pasting the form in to 7 sections and removing the cards that were not needed in that section but it seemed wrong to me and I couldn't fit things on one, scrollable screen.

Additionally, is there a height for the form screen?  I ask for a couple reasons but primarily since I want to mess around with the page to make all the sections fit.

Thanks in advance.

Mike

Re: Separating Form, Cards

Hi @ez1138,

When you form is too big, Forms will automantically add the scrolling bar so that you could move up and down to see all the fields. If you want to separate the fields to multiple screens, then you better not use the form but separated controls and then use Patch function to update the record.

For your reference:

Re: Separating Form, Cards

Hi, thanks for the reply.  I see how the form scrolls but rather than creating multiple screens, is there a way to change the "form screen" to a "scrollable screen" or change some property, somewhere?  It just looks like the canvas size is only so tall and limited to what I see on the screen.  For the scrollable screen, when I add a new section, the canvas size automatically becomes larger and it's easy to change each section to the size I need.

Any other insight would be appreciated.
