Set oldest date in sharepoint column as variable

Hi,

I want to set Datepicker to oldest existing date in sharepoint column (type date). So I set up datepicker "DefaultDate" to a variable defaultDate and I'm stuck on button action OnSelect. Right now I've got this, but with incompatible type error:

Set(defaultDate; First(Sort(AppData; currentDate; Descending)));;

 Any ideas? 🙂

Thanks.

Hi @nottheOther

Can you try to update the expression to:

Set(defaultDate; First(Sort(AppData; currentDate; Descending)).currentDate);;

This is because First returns the record but DatePicker expects its default value to be a date, hence you need to fetch it using the key.

Hope this Helps!
