Set variable and submitForm in same formula

Hi I need to set a variable "AnvID" (UserID in swedish) at the same time that I submit the "EditForm".

The scenario is that I´m adding a new user and I need the AnvID to add in some data to the new user in a related table.

This is part of the Formula, everything works fine until I add in the "Set(anvID, DataCardValue8);" part.

I´m using tables in excel for this POC

Best regards

Måns

You are passing the entire DataCardValue8 control to the variable instead of its value.

Just change:

 Set(anvID, DataCardValue8);

to:

Set(anvID, DataCardValue8.Text);

I missed the stupid text. 😋
