Several forms in one screen

Hi all,

Have big problem. I making apps like for user which will take orders to sales product.

Data Souruce is SharePoint LIST.

So making it about one week (im newbie in powerapps). In the process of creating ran into problems with positions of fields for input (snap to columns, by the grid)/ And then i did several forms in screen, it was more the less usable. And after all works, today i opened my sharepoint list, and saw mu input records put in the list for different rows 😞

Form one in one rows, form two in second rows, so i very very upset.

here is screnshoots results

Have any chance to fix it easy, maybe bind 3 forms and put in in one rows in datasource.

Sorry for my english, im russian

Hi @answeriver

The app you are trying to design is not a simple one.  To do a proper job, you will first need to understand some basic principles.  I suggest that you start with my series on database design principles and PowerApps.  https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/News-Announcements/Database-Design-Fundamentals-and-PowerApps-An...

Hi @answeriver ,

This issue happens if you are submitting all the forms individually to the List. You might be trying as below onSelect of your submit button:
SubmitForm(from1);
SubmitForm(from2);
SubmitForm(from3);
Try this:
SubmitForm(from1);
Patch(SPList,ID=Form1.LastSubmit.ID,{SPField1:Value1,.......SPFiledN=ValueN}); // this is for Form-2
Patch(SPList,ID=Form1.LastSubmit.ID,{SPField1:Value1,.......SPFiledN=ValueN}); // this is for Form-3

OR you can do as below also

Patch(
   'SPLIST',
    Defaults('SPLIST'),
    If(Form1.Unsaved, Form1.Updates),
    If(Form2.Unsaved,Form2.Updates),
    If(Form3.Unsaved,Form3.Updates),
ForAll(CollSpareParts,{SparePartUsed1Description:Name, SparePartUsedQty:qty,SparePartNumber:PartNo}) // Use this for common values
)

I hope this resolved your issue if you see any challenge/need further help please let me know I am always happy to do it for my community.
