Hi!
I tried to share an application (based on a sharepoint website) with external users by giving them 'visitor-rights' with on the sharepoint and 'sharing' the application with each of them on powerapps itself.
The users are now reporting to me that they get this error: 'invitation redemption failed'. (see attached screenshot).
What could be my problem here?
Thanks in advance!
Chris

Hi @Aschwinb ,
Do you want to share your app to users outsde your orginzation?
If so, just sharing' the application with each of them on powerapps itself is not enough.
Usually, you could only share your apps to users inside your organization.
If you want to share apps to users outsde your orginzation, you need to grant them guest access.
Here's a doc about it in details for your reference:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/canvas-apps/share-app
Please read the "Share with guests" part.
Please note that these licenses limit:
SharePoint customized form | Standalone canvas app using non-premium connectors | Standalone canvas app using premium connectors | Model driven app | |
---|---|---|---|---|
SharePoint user (no PA license) | x | |||
PowerApps Included w/ Office | x | |||
PowerApps Plan 1 | x | x | ||
PowerApps Plan2 | x | x | x | x |
Best regards,

I tried to assign a powerapps plan 1 license for example to the guest user and he still can't see the application in his list of applications 😕
what can be the problem here?
if this is the case why am i prompted to assign a licence for a a guest user for a Sharepoint list form that is a simple sharepoint form?
