Share excel sheet trough sharepoint

Hello I have an app that works with a excel sheet. The problem now its that i have the excel on my one drive, so for every user i share with they have to login to my outlook account. I want instead upload this excel sheets to sharepoint so they can access it trough there. I have made a document archieve and stored the excel sheets in there. but When i try to access the excel sheets it just access the upper level( the document list itself ) instead of accessing the actual data columns inside the excel sheet.  Any idea?

Hi @langsem ,

Do you want to use an Excel worksheet which is stored in SPO document as the data source of the App?

Yes, you could achieve this through MS Flow. Please reference to official doc below to see the connector Excel Online (Business) actions:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/excelonlinebusiness/#actions

The OneDrive connector could retrieve the worksheet tables, while SharePoint connector could retrieve the lists or libraries, but not the file in a library.

Please reference to official docs about the two kinds of connectors:

Cloud-Storage: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/canvas-apps/connections/cloud-storage-blob-connecti...

SharePoint: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/canvas-apps/connections/connection-sharepoint-onlin...

So why not create a list from the Excel worksheet as users have SP license?

If you would like to create a list from Excel worksheet, please follow the guides in the doc linked below:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/create-a-list-based-on-a-spreadsheet-380cfeb5-6e14-438e-9...

After the list created, you could use the list as data source through Sharepoint connection.
