SharePoint Attachment control Add item colors

This has baffled me for a while, I hope someone can help.

I have added an attachment control to a form with SharePoint list as the data source. Attaching and removing files works OK, but I want to style the Items (Fill and Color) in the control when they are added or removed (before save).

I was able to change the font and fill of Removed items  but the properties used were "Disabled Fill" and "Disabled Color" instead of "Removed Item Color" and "Removed Item Fill" as expected.
I have tried to set all other Fill and Color properties inlcuding Item Added Fill and Item Added Color properties to try to change items added (unsaved) but none of them seem to work.

In the screenshot attached, file cc_icon_no.png was previously saved and has been selected for removal. Font color was changed using "Disabled Color" property (Not Item Disabled Property or Item Removed Property)

cc_icon_yes.png was previously saved and no actions on this file, and cc_icon_added.png was picked from the file upload dialog but has not yet been saved. This is the item I want to add styling for (font color and fill).

Has anyone had any luck styling this item before? I couldn't find any documentation on the properties except that there should be appropriate contract between the fill and color properties with the same name.
