SharePoint Auto Currency conversion to GBP from various Currency

Hi all, need some advise on how to have the Currency Share which is selected by a dropdown currency automatically convert to a GBP share using the Formatting section in @SharePoint 

I have tried a couple of suggestions on the forums but I am not able to get it to work.

Some advise and guidance would be greatly appreciated.

There's no way to format a field so that it displays a value in a given currency.

A good place to start is to create a list of currency conversion rates. That would at least give you the basis on which to carry out a currency conversion calculation.
