SharePoint Collect People and Group field not yet set to list

Hi All,

I have a Sharepoint connected Powerapp, I am wanting to connect the people and group field content selected within the powerapp.

People and Group Field Name is Coordinator

Collect(
CollectEvent,
{
Coordinator: Coordinator})

This doesn't work because it takes the SharePoint List information, not the selected information.

Example: If saved says "Tia" but you override with "Sarah", the collection takes "Tia" not "Sarah".

So, I thought taking the SelectedItems would work but this then doesn't take the full people and group content and breaks the next step (a patch) So the question is how do I take the content and keep it as a People and Group field from the selected value?

{Value: DataCardValue3.Selected}

Thanks in advance!

Re: SharePoint Collect People and Group field not yet set to list

I just realized my initial patch was getting broken because I didn't put a .value at the end and treat it like the other lookups...

Collect(
CollectEvent,
{
Coordinator: {Value: DataCardValue3.Selected}
})

This actually worked, because the data is housed in the form and not in the list yet.

@Tia  Yeah, please refer to our official documentation about how to create a collection.
