SharePoint Delegation warning Avoidance Help

Hello,

I still a novice with PowerApps.

Right now connected to a SharePoint List. The two drop downs are showing a delegation warning.
The data set size is relatively small. Past data over 7 years under 500 items. Started a new list. Thus count is at near zero.
Raised delegation limit to 2,000. That said, is there a better way to write the two drop downs feeding the gallery formula below to avoid the delegation warning symbol?

Two drop downs with Delegation warning:

1. Distinct(CDLForm, CDLStatusText)

2. Distinct(Sort(CDLForm,Region_Text),Region_Text)

Gallery:

SortByColumns(Filter(CDLForm, StartsWith(CDLStatusText, Dropdown1.Selected.Result) And StartsWith(Region_Text,Dropdown2.Selected.Result) And StartsWith(Program, TextSearchBox1.Text)), "Modified", If(SortDescending1, Descending, Ascending))

Also, right now search bar the text query is startswith. Is there a way to have it search any part of a string?

In your situation I would just ignore the delegation warning caused by the DISTINCT function.  There's no way to turn it off.  But you don't plan to have over 2,000 records in your list so you can safely ignore it.

Distinct(CDLForm, CDLStatusText)

Distinct(Sort(CDLForm,Region_Text),Region_Text)

SEARCH also cannot be delegated and there is no workaround as was recently explained here by multiple super users in the community.

Thanks.

Reasonable and that's the answer I was leaning towards.

My hope is one day Microsoft increases delegation limit to 5K and I won't worry because it will be linked to me having to create a new list anyways.
