SharePoint Gallery - Arrow control

Hi all, sorry if I have posted this in the wrong section but I'm baffled on something which is driving me up the wall!

I have created a new PowerApp using the "Customise Form" option from a SharePoint list. I have created 3 forms that control the navigation (New, edit, view) and have also created a kind of home page to show latest items submitted

The issue I am facing is on the home page I have created, I am using the SharePoint Gallery control. This is pretty much a standard control that shows the latest items submitted, showing the Title and subtitle, aswell as the standard "NextArrow". On the arrow control I have added the following action for the onselect trigger

Select(Parent); Navigate(NameofForm_Form, ScreenTransition.Cover)

Now, this works fine for the first item shown within the list. I click the arrow and it returns the corresponding item but if I select another item from the form, it always displays the same item, i.e. item #1.

I want the users to be able to select any item within the list and bring up the details specific to that item but for whatever reason, it doesn't and always returns the first item submitted.

Display mode = Edit on the Gallery (home page). If i select view, it doesn't seem to work. I click the arrow and it does nothing

Is this a bug? Has anyone come across this and if so, do you have any recommendations on how I can resolve it?

I can post some screen shots if it helps but I hope I've explained the issue thoroughly enough

Re: SharePoint Gallery - Arrow control

Hi @LucaPellegrino,

Please check on the NameofForm_Form screen, and see if the Item property of the Form on this screen is set to:

BrowseGallery1 is the gallery name.

Re: SharePoint Gallery - Arrow control

On the arrow control you should write:

OnSelect :  Select(Parent)

and on the Gallery

OnSelect: Navigate(NameofForm_Form, ScreenTransition.Cover)

then you should be sure th form has the datasource set (the same as the gallery) and the property

Item: Gallery.Selected
