SharePoint create item with a dynamic url

I have created an app with contains a customer sharepointlist. In the app a customer can be selected and I would like to go to the customer to see al the customer information and the customer sharepoint lists.

The url of the customers list is like ...sharepoint.com/sites/customerportals/

In here is the sharepointlist of all customerprtals

The url of one customer is like ...sharepoint.com/sites/customerportals/0011/

In here are the sharepointlists of one customer

So I have to set dynamic the url with the customernumber to go to the sharepointlist of the selected customer.

Does anyone has an idea how to do this?

Bart

Hi @haas1001,

To go to the sharepointlist of the selected customer, you can use the Launch function to load the URL.

Launch( Address [, ParameterName1, ParameterValue1, ... ] )

  • Address - Required. The address of a webpage or the ID of an app to launch.

  • ParameterName(s) - Optional. Parameter name.

  • ParameterValue(s) - Optional. Corresponding parameter values to pass to the app or the webpage.

So what you need is actually the customernumber in the end of the url. Where is this data stored? Do you have this customer number in some column in your SharePoint list? If not, you could also add a textinput maybe to let the user fill this and then use it in the Launch function.

Mona
