SharePoint lists created from Excel not working with Powerapps

Hi all,

we're moving data from an old MySQL to SharePoint Online.

We used "export table" command in Excel to create the SharePoint lists, it worked fine but we're experincing an issue: the button "Customize with Powerapps" in new/edit forms is missing.

Anyway we found that we can edit PowerApp form from List Settings > Form Settings but when we click on new item tha standard SharePoint form is shown. It looks like a bug, we tried in different site collection and different tenants without any luck.

Does anyone know how to fix it?

Thanks

Maurizio

Hi @MaurizioAngeli1 ,

If it's not a standard list, then this is expected behavior.Your list might contain data types that PowerApps doesn't support.
Custom forms for lists are only supported in generic lists. Support for generic document libraries is coming soon. Custom list and library templates are currently not supported; including but not limited to lists such as Announcements, Contacts and Tasks.

Hi @MaurizioAngeli1 ,

Besides what @Drrickryp  suggested, please make sure that you have checked the Use a custom form created in PowerApps option and saved.

We're using modern list experience.

That's exactly my setup.

In lists created with the browser everything works normally, only in lists created with Excel powerapps doesn't work.

I don't know how to make it work
