I have a Power Apps app that uses the Excel Online (Business) connector to connect to multiple tables in an Excel file (*.xlsx) that is stored in a SharePoint site. I understand that, initially, you could only connect to Excel files stores in OneDrive, but this is no longer the case. I was able to do it a week ago. Now, however, I need to connect to an additional table, but...the SharePoint site no longer appears in the list that pops up for potential SP sites in the Excel Online (Business) connector. What happened? Where did it go?
Even weirder, I went to Power Automate, made a new Flow, made a new action with the Excel Online (Business) connector and...same thing! A whole bunch of SP sites are there, but not the specific one I need. The problem is that, in Power Automate, you have the option to manually enter a location. When I copy/paste the site's URL into that location, I'm good to go. The rest of the action autofills the library options, then I can use the file picker to pick the excel file, etc. It just doesn't the SP list in the pre-genereated drop-down list.
In Power Apps, though, I do not have the option to manually enter a site's URL.
Relevant information:
I either need to know how to "fix" the problem of SP sites not appearing in that list OR be able to manually add the SP URL.
Any ideas??
To clarify, the connections that I already made (those other tables that I connected last week) are still functioning. I can still use the app to add new rows to those tables, for instance, so the connection still works.

This issue has been resolved. Microsoft has added the ability in Power Apps to manually paste in a URL when using the Excel (Online) Business connector. You always could with Power Automate, but in Power Apps, you previously could only select SharePoint sites & OneDrive locations (as sources for the Excel file you want to connect to) from a drop down list. Now, above the drop down list, you can manually paste in a URL.
Hi @BTbearings ,
Were you able to figure out a solution? I am also having the exact same issue and I am unable to resolve this.
Thanks!
No, I wasn't. I was working with technical support, but I finally gave up. They had me try the same basic things multiple times (re-create the connection, re-create the app, etc.), and then would pass me off to someone else. Eventually I just gave up.
I came across your question as I was having the same issue. I thought perhaps the Sharepoint Site wasn't appearing in the list because it was a 'legacy' site (not created with an associated Teams group). The solution here worked:
SharePoint Site Missing in Power Automate » The Analytics Corner (bigmountainanalytics.com)
Essentially I got the url for the Site and pasted it using the 'Enter custom value' option.
https://[companyname].sharepoint.com/Sites/[7-digit code]
