SharePointIntegration Form - How to change Edit view on SharePoint

Hello Guys,

i customized a PowerApp for a SharePoint list so that the user has a nicer entry mask where the user can fill in data. Works perfectly.

However, I also get some informations that are not visible on the form or set some default values (counters and so on).

Everytime I click on a list item and I want to edit it manually, it opens the whole powerapps. But for the editing a list item i just want to default way.

Does someone know how to distinguish between these two scenarios:

  • On New --> use the fancy powerapp
  • On edit --> give me the default way for editing the values of the several columns

@Anonymous

To accomplish your goal you will need to have at least 2 screens in your app.

#1) New Screen - this is the screen your app will open in New Mode

#2) Edit Screen this is the screen your app will open in Edit Mode

If you deleted the default edit screen you have 2 options to get it back.  I suggest you do whatever is less work.

#1) Rebuild the edit screen manually

#2) Delete the PowerApp and start fresh

Then in the SharepointIntegration OnNew property you would use the code

Navigate(newScreen,None);

And in the SharepointIntegration OnEdit property you would use the code

Navigate(editScreen,None);

@mdevaney

thank you very much. I was thinking that maybe it is possible to change it more easily.

Do you know if it is possible instead of using the SharePoint Integration to build a independent app that does the same as with this kind of integration?
