Sharepoint Field - updated from prior form no input from form

Hello,

I'm creating a workflow that has 3 sharepoint lists and some of the data flows from list 1 to list 2 & 3.  I am wondering if there is a field type or way I can get a field to show in the form, but have no user entry.  The field will be updated by the workflow after the first list is complete, but the data will show in the other list forms.

Thanks

You can probably set a variable using the LastSubmit function and specifying the Form name. Then in list 2/3, just make use of the values from the LastSubmit.

If there would be another submit in-between. You could set a variable of say the Id of the list item and then in list 2/3 do a lookup to the list, based on Id and pull out the values you need.

You can have that field in your form and just make it read-only.  Just change the control type in the field chooser for the control.

I hope this is helpful for you.

Where is the control type setting?  Is it in sharepoint or powerapps form editor?

Click on the Edit Fields in the form properties.  Then expand the field you want to make read only, then choose the read only control type that you would like.

Watch it all here at this link.
