Sharepoint Lookup column is not updating value when distinct function is used with multilevel cascading

I referred the below article and tried implementing multi level cascading and it works fine but when I use distinct function in the item property of the field Sharepoint Lookup column is not updating

Ref Article : https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Building-Power-Apps/Multiselect-Combobox-Checkbox-in-3-cascading...

Case :

Column1 :

Item : Choices([@List Name].Column 1)

On Change :Clear(secondarytest);Collect(secondarytest,Ungroup(ForAll(DataCardValue2.SelectedItems,Filter(FruitType,Fruit=Value).Title),"Value"))

Column 2:

Items:

AddColumns(RenameColumns(secondarytest,"Title","Value"),"Id",LookUp(FruitType,Title=Value,ID))

On Chnange :

Clear(thirdtest);Collect(thirdtest,Ungroup(ForAll(DataCardValue3.SelectedItems,Filter(FruitDetails,'Fruit Type'=Value).Title),"Value"))

Column 3 : Items

AddColumns(RenameColumns(thirdtest,"Title","Value"),"Id",LookUp(FruitDetails,Title=Value,ID))

Trying to use distinct function :

Column 3: Items

Distinct(AddColumns(RenameColumns(thirdtest,"Title","Value"),"Id",LookUp(FruitDetails,Title=Value,ID)),Value)

When the above code is used the column removes duplicate values but when submitting to SP the data is not saved
