Sharepoint Update Item failing because of required column that is a lookup column.

I am trying to create a flow to update a Sharepoint list when a condition is met.

It is failing and the issue appears to be the Project Code(s) column which is a required column but is also a lookup column from another list. The only columns I want to update with this flow are the Requesters Notified and Request Notes.

Any advice on how to get around this would be greatly appreciate.

Thanks
